Exhibition: "Swiss Design 2004" in Zurich

The Museum Bellerive in Zurich presents the best modern Swiss designers in “Swiss Design 2004” from October 22, 2004 until January 9, 2005.

From furniture to household appliances, graphic design and photography to shoes and jewelry: 21 Swiss designers present their work that was awarded by the Federal Office for Culture. The work was assessed with questions like: what is innovation in design? What is innovative design? When does a product deserve this title? Does innovation entail a fundamental invention or does consistent optimization suffice? The objects are exhibited in a “living building site” designed by the architectural office Isa Stürm Urs Wolf SA, placing the design objects in environments appropriate for their use and with appropriate interior design atmospheres.
