Music Trade Fair WOMEX at the red dot design museum
The World Music Expo 2004 – WOMEX – will take place on the grounds of the red dot design museum in Essen from October 27-30, 2004.

Last year, more than 2,000 participants from more than 80 countries gathered at WOMEX. Each year, a multifaceted musical program accompanies the fair and attracts many visitors. Enthusiastic music fans can find ethnic, traditional, folk and other genres at WOMEX. Music from Uzbekistan and Israel, Mali and the Ivory Coast, Romania and Sweden, Gujarat, Andalusia, Brazil and many other countries will be presented.
