Raumplus Möbelwerkstätten GmbH
raumplus is an internationally successful company in the supply industry. The sliding door system "Series 2000" from 1986, originally designed only for the German market, had already set new standards in technology and functionality. The system was followed by numerous other product developments such as the "Series 1001" in 1994 and the "Profile Series 400" in 1998, which today are being exported to 42 countries.
In 2000, the founder Jürgen Guddas retired from active business and transferred his company shares to his daughter Uta and his son-in-law Carsten D. Bergmann, both of whom have held important positions since 1991, responsible for organisation and controlling as well as for exhibition design.
To enhance efficiency and response to the German market, the furniture works raumplus Möbelwerkstätten GmbH was founded in 2002, and the export section was transferred to raumplus International in 2003.
raumplus have received awards for their design quality such as the "interzum award: intelligent material & design 2003." Moreover, the brochure "The Art of Beautiful Living," presented at the IMM cologne in 2005, also underlines the company's high design expertise.
