Ruedi Baur
Ruedi Baur, born in 1956 with dual French and Swiss citizenship, he graduated in graphic design from the Zurich School of Applied Arts. Since 1989 in Paris, and 2002 in Zurich, Intégral Ruedi Baur et Associés has been working on 2 and 3-dimensional projects within a range of different fields of visual communication such as identity, orientation and information programmes, exhibition design, and urban design. In 1995, he was appointed professor (corporate design) at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst of Leipzig, where he was rector from 1997 to 2000. In 1999 he set up the Interdisciplinary Design Institute (2id) at the university. In 1992 he became a member of Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI) and was nominated president of AGI France in 2003. In April 2004 he created the Design Institute at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst der Stadt Zürich (HGKZ). He regularly teaches at the Zollverein school of Management and Design and the Luxun Academy of Shenyang among others.
