Architect and professor of industrial design and design management at the University of Ljubljana Academy of Fine Art and Design
Professor Sasa J. Mächtig was born in Ljubljana in 1941 and graduated at the University of Ljubljana, School of architecture.
Mächtig is architect and professor of industrial design and design management at the University of Ljubljana Academy of Fine Art and Design since 1984.
He serves as Vice-President and a member of executive board at the European Erasmus/Cumulus Network of Schools of Art & Design. He is active in scientific and R&D interdisciplinary work and frequent guest to various international or local conferences, workshops and magazines.
His latest achievement in industrial design has been the new Modular Bus Shelter System MET3 developed for international markets. The system includes a number of other functional street furniture elements.
