Guided tours: a hands-on experience!

Art historians and designers guide you through the red dot design museum and the special exhibitions, and inform you about contemporary design and industrial architecture. The best is yet to come: a large number of the exhibits can simply be tried out. Each guided tour lasts around one hour.

Guided tours special topics can be arranged on request and can also be booked in French or English. Together with interesting information on the topics of industrial design and product culture, you will find out a lot of fascinating facts about the Design Zentrum and Zeche Zollverein, and can learn about more specialised fields such as architecture and structural change. The topic-related tours last around one hour.
