Creativity for kids: Experience tours in the Red Dot Design Museum

On Saturday, 19 October 2013, children will go on discovery tour in the Red Dot Design Museum Essen and learn to see their environment with new eyes. In a playful way, two experience tours equip the young creative with design basics. The Red Dot Design Museum invites to free guided tours during the 24th colliery festival

This year, for the 24th time, UNESCO World Heritage Zollverein celebrates the huge colliery festival from 28 to 29 September 2013. Under the motto “1 world heritage / 1 district / 1 celebration” („ 1 Welterbe / 1 Bezirk / 1 Fest“), the industrial culture landscape presents a broad, exciting programme in which the Red Dot Design Museum Essen is also involved: besides a reduced entry fee of four euros during the weekend, it offers two free guided tours – for design fans and those who want to become it. Successful beginning for the Red Dot Design Museum Taipei

The grand opening of the Red Dot Design Museum in Taipei on 30 August 2013 got a great feedback: A total of 40 journalists and more than 100 guests of honour followed the invitation of Prof. Dr. Peter Zec, initiator and CEO of Red Dot, and the Taiwan Design Center (TDC). Opening of the new Red Dot Design Museum Taipei promises a special kind of product experience
