Exhibition opening in Zaragoza: "¡Viva el Diseño" shows Spanish Red Dot winners

On 11 May 2016, the exhibition “¡Viva el Diseño! Red Dot winners from Spain” was opened at the Museum Pablo Serrano. It is organised jointly by the Red Dot Design Museum Essen, the Centro Aragonés de Diseño Industrial (Cadi) and the Instituto Aragonés de Arte y Cultura Contemporáneos (IAACC PABLO SERRANO). Until 18 September, “¡Viva el Diseño” showcases a wide selection of designs, documenting the contemporary understanding of design in Spain an underlining its international charisma. More

KJO Symphony Orchestra plays concert at Red Dot Design Museum

On Wednesday, 27 April 2016, the visitors of the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany, were amazed when suddenly the sound of the “Ouverture Egmond” by Ludwig van Beethoven filled the premises of the former boiler house of the Zollverein coalmine Industrial Complex. In the Stocker’s Station of the museum over 50 youth musicians of the KJO Symphony Orchestra (Kennemer Jeugd Orkest) from Haarlem, Netherlands, had assembled to give a concert. More
