Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Prince Daniel of Sweden were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Peter Zec, initiator and CEO of Red Dot, in the Red Dot Design Museum Essen earlier today. Political leaders visited the Red Dot Design Museum Essen

Today, high-ranking visitors were welcomed at the Red Dot Design Museum. The guests were Hannelore Kraft, Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia and Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands. The politicians were impressed by the world heritage Zollverein and especially the Red Dot Design Museum, which is located in the former colliery’s boiler house. Emotions, events and successes: The Red Dot year 2013

Red Dot looks back on an exciting year 2013. The three competitions Red Dot Award: Product Design, Red Dot Award: Communication Design and Red Dot Award: Design Concept elected the best of their fields with their expert juries. With the opening of the Red Dot Design Museum Taipei and worldwide special exhibitions as well as events, Red Dot expanded the international design network.
