From 5 July 2016, the Red Dot Design Museum Essen in Germany presents three special exhibitions at once at Zollverein UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors can experience the best products of the year in “Design on Stage – Winners Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016”, and can meet the creative video technology of the design team of the year in “Creative Video Revolution by Blackmagic Design”. Exhibition by the Red Dot: Design Team of the Year 2016 – “Creative Video Revolution by Blackmagic Design”

Design event of the year: Award ceremony, exhibitions and after-show party crown the winners of the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016

On 4 July 2016, the global design scene will come to Essen, Germany, to celebrate the best products of the Red Dot Award: Product Design. During the Red Dot Gala, which has been booked out for months now, the winners of the highest single distinction, the “Red Dot Best of the Best”, will receive their trophies on stage in the Aalto-Theater in Essen. Afterwards, designers, manufacturers and design fans will celebrate at the after-show party in the Red Dot Design Museum. Ticket sales for the Designers’ Night end on 1 July 2016. More

Exhibition opening in Zaragoza: "¡Viva el Diseño" shows Spanish Red Dot winners

On 11 May 2016, the exhibition “¡Viva el Diseño! Red Dot winners from Spain” was opened at the Museum Pablo Serrano. It is organised jointly by the Red Dot Design Museum Essen, the Centro Aragonés de Diseño Industrial (Cadi) and the Instituto Aragonés de Arte y Cultura Contemporáneos (IAACC PABLO SERRANO). KJO Symphony Orchestra plays concert at Red Dot Design Museum

On Wednesday, 27 April 2016, the visitors of the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany, were amazed when suddenly the sound of the “Ouverture Egmond” by Ludwig van Beethoven filled the premises of the former boiler house of the Zollverein coalmine Industrial Complex.
