“In spite of all our best everyday efforts to make the marketing world a better place, all you sometimes have to do to be confronted with the worst advertising sins is to flick through the morning paper.” In order to put a stop to experiences like these, the agency developed the calendar “Approved for shooting” for 2007. The objective of this promotional giveaway was to allow people to no longer bottle up frustration about advertising sins but to let it out. Every day serves as ammunition – in the form of a calendar page – that is the underlying original idea. Torn off daily, they can be loaded into the sling that comes as part of the cover and be shot off. “And straight away the world looks a bit better for marketing decision-makers and advertising professionals such as ourselves.”
