AF Module

(Type Specimen)

red dot
red dot award: communication design 2008

The type specimen explains the different concepts of the AF Module fonts and introduces the reader to their possible applications. AF Module is a font system consisting of four styles: AF Module Pressure (with increasing print pressures), AF Module Classic and AF Module Text (which enable a more conventional setting), and finally AF Module Texture (which plays with possibilities of the moiré effect). Besides the conventional use of the thin, regular and bold styles, the concept of the font system explores the possibilities of combining typefaces accumulatively.
