Coffee Makers and Coffee Pots: New disguised as old

After having concentrated particularly on fully automatic coffee makers in recent years, the sector is finding new approaches in order to attract a younger target group. In a globalised world, which appears to be turning faster all the time, traditions are taking on greater significance, even with younger people. The past is romanticised and retro design is said to awaken the euphoric feelings of past decades. In this light, new techniques are presented in proven forms. An extension of this portfolio is the creation of receptacles for the preparation of cocoa specialties, the glass Chocolatières, whose form is reminiscent of Granny’s milk jugs.

Coffee Makers in Mini Format

Single-serve coffee makers demonstrate new aesthetic approaches. Their design is adapted from the computer sector: they have been reduced to just a few service elements, colours and materials shine with simplicity. Such mini coffee makers concentrate on the essentials, because in the light of advancing globalisation it is increasingly important to develop products, which are understood world-wide by their design. Modern single or student households benefit from this mini format, as do small offices.
