““A fish box is grey, angular and stinks of fish – a lifeless freight container – normally. The fish box for Deutsche See carries fresh fish like a swaying slice of the ocean, swathed in ice, from the fishing net to the shopping basket. This box does things differently and better: from the stacking and nesting system to the fish-friendly fluid interior design to the temperature monitoring and after-freezing functions – from the label section to the meltwater cascades, from the volume reduction to the universal conveyor belt compatibility. Not surprisingly, these features have been patented. Above all else this box is a genuine showroom for fresh fish. Emptied, the showroom still retains the salty fragrance of the sea.”
