typocube is a modular system consisting of 64 cubes. Together these cubes form a non-linear object that designers can use to learn about typefaces in a playful manner and get a feel for their individual characters and their qualities. Characteristics, similarities and differences are highlighted in an unconventional approach, and being movable elements the cubes offer the opportunity to sort and compare all fonts with one another, combine them and make one’s own array. Each cube represents a unit and shows a font type.
