The design avoids the stainless steel material with its succinct and clear-cut lines in so far as the designers seem to have avoided an overly industrial and western rational look. Counteracting this impression, they added traditional oriental colours with their gentle and graceful appeal in order to harmonise design characteristics from the East and the West. The result is an interesting design which, with its sense of Western clarity and Eastern ambience, possesses both profound and fleeting connotations – coldness turns into grace, sharpness has a sense of vitality and succinctness becomes elegance.
