The word “Butzenfänger” – which in the technical terminology of printing is a device that keeps small dust and dirt particles off the printing plate – aims to awake the readers’ curiosity. In printing, the “Butzenfänger” is the last chance to avoid bad printing mistakes, because such mistakes are usually well hidden and can often only be spotted with the help of a thread counter. This book however consciously does not want to be a print without mistakes, because even if it was not the fault of the printing, there are many flaws to be spotted on the pages.
