“Return on Ideas – Better by Design”. Design and business expert Professor Dr. Zec speaks at the ROTONDA Business Club

Ideas are what change the world...provided they are realized! The role which design can play in this will be discussed by design and business expert Professor Dr. Peter Zec in his presentation “Return on Ideas – Better by Design” on 13 February 2008 at the ROTONDA Business Club.

In his lecture, Prof. Zec seeks to reveal the invisible “laws of form” in operation in design. Pointing to examples from the world's best design teams, he shows effective corporate strategies that ensure growth through design. Zec also refers to the 50 years of experience of Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen and one of the world's biggest design competitions, the red dot design award. He unmistakably demonstrates that an investment in design is a business and value-based commitment to quality. Such a choice bears risks and offers opportunities as does any other business decision. The underlying impetus is the willingness to invest in strong ideas.
