The V1 CPU cooler displays an extravagant design geared exclusively to function. Its double fan form sets a strong visual accent and at the same time allows efficient cooling of CPUs. The mounting bracket consists of aluminium and copper, while the stepped fins are of solid copper. The open frame design not only absorbs and dissipates heat quickly, it also reduces noise because the air can escape without hitting any parts of the frame. For the cooling front, the V1 utilises the newly-developed four-channel dual-V architecture with heat pipes, which allow a high heat flux density, using the evaporation and condensation heat properties of a substance. V-shaped fins are seamlessly attached to heat pipes each 963 mm long in order to accelerate heat dissipation. The mirror-finished copper base increases the heat absorption rate from the CPU via the heat pipes to the fins. The 110-mm fan with variable speed control allows the user to manually adjust the fan speed. The cooler supports all mainstream and high-performance processors (Intel Socket LGA775 and AMD Sockets AM2, AM2+ and K8).
