The Logitech diNovo Edge is a flat, cordless keyboard. The housing, made of glossy acrylic glass, brushed aluminium and plastic, imparts an elegant impression of high-grade workmanship. The underside of the keyboard consists of an even, orange-coloured surface that produces interesting reflections if placed on a bright or mirror-like surface. When the Fn key is pressed the additional function options of the keyboard also light up in orange and then fade out slowly. The keys use a special scissor-switch mechanism that results in smooth keystrokes and fluid typing. Aside from the standard keys, the keyboard includes a touchpad with horizontal and vertical scrolling function, as well as 17 special keys that light up and a touch-sensitive volume control. The keyboard is connected to a PC via Bluetooth; to recharge the keyboard, it is placed vertically in the charger stand that comes with the unit.
