The Gigaset C590 was designed for trend-conscious people who consider a telephone to be a stylish enrichment of their living environment rather than a mere basic commodity. The mobile unit resembles a highly polished stone, visually accentuated by the delicate, brushed frame in which it is set. The real-black display seamlessly integrated into the front panel vanishes into its dark background in standby mode. The development of the graphic interface displays the same characteristic styling. With its matt surface, the precision hard-cap key panel is offset by the plain front shell, making the panel clearly recognisable and simple to operate. The set is available in black or white high-gloss piano lacquer finish, the lighter-coloured version featuring a metallic-look frame. The charger, base station and answering machine come in a matching design. All components create a restrained, friendly impression, and therefore blend easily into a variety of interior design styles.
