The HD-XA1 is an innovative DVD player for the new HD DVD format with a capacity of up to 30 GB. The upper half of the front panel is made of acrylic; the lower half consists of an aluminium flip cover so as to keep the layout of the housing plain, robust and efficient. The operational status of the player is clearly visible at any given time, and illuminated buttons make the handling of the player very easy. Analogous to the player, the remote control with its ergonomically arranged buttons is also held in aluminium and acrylic. The screen menus are clearly arranged and have a user-friendly design. Their colour can be customised according to the user’s individual preferences.
