The Insignia Portable DVD player combines mobile entertainment with a functional intelligent design which takes into account the needs of its mostly teenagers users. It continues the concept of the Insignia product line, but uses the opportunity to introduce individual design characteristics. The result is a robust design which allows the player to be used in a variety of situations. Spray-proof keys offer protection from moisture when the device is used on the go. The body has a rubber finish to guarantee safe use and a pleasant feel. The swivel joint which carries the screen was reinforced to increase its durability. The DVD player is available with an 8.5” or 10.2” LCD screen with a 16:9 format. It has two headphone jacks. Volume and brightness can be adjusted individually. In the 10.2” version the remote can be inserted into a slot in the device if it is not needed. Power is supplied by a rechargeable battery or a 12-volt adapter.
