Network – a form for multimedia reality It is quite natural for younger people to be constantly engaged with the latest technological media. Today we are living in a world marked by rapid developments in the digital realm. No medium exists independently from the others – the television can easily turn into a screen for multimedia applications in much the same way as the computer screen can easily turn into a TV screen. The Connect 37 is an LCD TV that reflects this media reality with a new approach and due to both its technical functionality and style aims at young target groups. Responding to the lifestyle of young users, this television features high-resolution Full HD technology and a 94-cm diagonal screen. It is the perfect portal to access all kinds of media sources. Its design concept responds to the flexibility and mobility of young customers: the television can be mounted on the wall or mounted on a filigree tubular stand which is suited for both desk- or free-standing applications. Furthermore, its innovative basic concept centres on a multimedia network suited to real-life application by offering new connection techniques for mobile equipment such as digital cameras, MP3 players or other PC networks. With the new-fashioned Connect-Media equipment, the user can easily access photos, music or videos from a PC via the integrated network media player. They are accessed through the remote control, which despite the abundance of media on offer is clearly laid out and intuitive to use. This LCD television has also been adapted to many different media formats, allowing a data link to be established via USB interfaces, Ethernet, Power-Line or via WLAN – its design embodies a highly aesthetic and adaptable form for contemporary multimedia reality.
