The Vudu video-on-demand box delivers movies from major motion picture studios directly to a TV via a broadband Internet connection, bypassing computer, cable or satellite TV connectivity. The user can search for movies by title, actor or director, or browse through genres, new releases and special collections. Vudu displays 1080p high-definition resolution, has HDMI and a 250 GB hard drive for storing movies. The curved form of the Vudu box gives it the look of a dynamic, future-oriented product. The same goes for the remote control, whose “twisted” shape makes it convenient to hold and handle. The buttons and scroll wheel are in a horizontal plane directly under the thumb for ease of use. The back of the remote forms an opposing vertical plane, allowing the user to hold the device comfortably between three fingers and the palm.
