Canal+ Le Cube Digital Cable Receiver

red dot
red dot award: product design 2009

Le Cube is a digital cable-TV receiver with Internet connection and integrated hard disk drive. As part of an overall concept, the receiver, remote control, programme selection and TV graphic interface are coordinated in such a way that the system displays information, user preferences and relevant communication even before the TV set is turned on. The original design turns Le Cube into an aesthetic, self-contained object that can be positioned horizontally or vertically, as required.
