Successful for more than three decades, the Passat creates the technical basis for the first four-door coupé from Volkswagen. The flowing lines of the silhouette are especially striking: the roof spans from the A-pillars in a very flat arch back to far past the C-pillars. Even the lines of the boot lid flow into the rear window in a single stroke. The frameless side windows create a narrow arch framed in chrome. The low Cd value of 0.29, a measure of wind resistance, is an indication of the good aerodynamic qualities of the Passat CC.
