The new C-Class Estate expresses the essential characteristics of the latest Mercedes design idiom: superiority, a smooth driving experience and power. This is achieved by a design concept following the rules of modern purism which is characterised by the interplay of large, calm surfaces and tautly drawn lines. By deliberately dispensing with formal extras and superfluous embellishments the current Mercedes models have also visually been given the superior power, which they have thanks to their exceptional technology. This expressive style is particularly evident on the sides with their elegant as well as muscular forms. The saloon and the estate were developed and designed simultaneously; therefore both body variants follow a common design language.
