Laryngoscopes are used to examine the vocal cords and the throat. The shaft is inserted into the mouth and the diagnosis is carried out through the optics or a connected camera. Compared with competitor products, the HD2 laryngoscope is particularly lightweight and also features – which is unusual – a handle that can be removed with one click and then cleaned easily. Thanks to its stainless-steel structure, the instrument fulfils current sterilisation requirements.
