The SofTec Coxa shows that a hip orthosis can be safe and comfortable. It provides safe control of the hip joint, thus supporting the treatment of hip luxation. A crucial factor in its effectiveness is the interplay between the innovative joint itself and and the pelvic harness and thigh shell incorporated in the soft, breathable fabric components. The various components are individually adjustable to different patients and therapy phases. The high degree of wearing comfort, together with the ease with which the orthosis can be put on and taken off, contribute to high patient compliance.
