Portello I Left® is a sterling-silver thumb orthosis which is deployed in cases of rhizarthritis and instability of the thumb-saddle joint. What makes the splint innovative is that it sits on the thumb with no need for a fixing mechanism on the wrist, thereby allowing the wrist to remain flexible. The product retains its shape, is agreeable to the skin and hygienic. It has been designed to fit the shape of the left thumb, surrounding it firmly and securely.
