inspiro is a new wireless communication system for hearing impaired children used in a classroom by teachers and their students. The teachers wear a small microphone and the students wear tiny FM receivers attached to, or integrated into, their hearing instruments – giving them direct access to everything their teachers say. inspiro improves speech understanding tremendously, and compared with traditional systems, communication is improved by 50 per cent. inspiro facilitates this communication through its advanced features and ease of use. Currently, in developed countries, it is standard clinical practice to give hearing impaired children a FM system. In the future, inspiro will be the new global standard in FM systems for all hearing impaired children.
