AmbientLine was developed to reduce the impact of artificial light in intensive care units and provide patients with individual light scenarios. The system allows melatonin regulation through the adjustment of light colours, which keeps the day and night rhythm stable and also provides reading light, general room light or floor light. TV programmes can be projected onto the sail, enabling the patient to watch TV even when lying down. The rather technical look of the ceiling system is concealed from view and a comfortable halo of light is created.
