The Lifebridge B2T is a portable, “plug & play” system for the support of heart and lung functions in emergencies. It is connected to the patient percutaneously and used in the case of acute heart failure. The system excels thanks to its small size, low weight and its straightforward, safe handling. The structure of the three main components contributes to the clear-cut look of an otherwise highly complex piece of technical equipment. The creative realisation of the filling process has resulted in a new type of equipment typology.
