Unlike other hospital beds, Cocoon is a modern, lightweight bed which responds to the trend of a more home-like atmosphere in health care. The rounded forms of the head and foot boards and the refreshing colours create a friendly look. The inside and outside, in contrasting colours, provide security for the patient. The rail’s intelligent construction enables it to be operated single-handedly. The railing requires only a limited space for lowering and can be stored away under the mattress.
