XDR2-M is a system for portable digital radiography in veterinary medicine. The case with an extendable telescopic arm for notebook and touch screen can be used almost anywhere. The system can be unlocked at the touch of a button with various ratchet settings allowing for individual working positions and therefore X-raying and viewing of images at eye level with the patient’s owner. The case is made of highly durable plastic and houses state-of-the-art radiographic technology as compactly as possible. Its cover can be removed without any tools for maintenance needs, as well as for storing the flat panel detectors. The cover is released through a recess using the detector handle. The embedded trolley handle and robust rollers allow for convenient transport. Due to the telescopic arm being made of high-tensile, anodised aluminium, weight is reduced to a minimum. A special plastic with similar properties to plain bearing optimises the joints. Its integrated design characteristics are consistent radii and 45-degree angles.
