The FLIR T400 infra-red camera has a compact and lightweight design with striking colours. While the front is dominated by metal elements, the back is mostly black. Front and back are separated by a slim, coloured stripe. The ergonomic lens is pivotable by 120 degrees, which allows it to be used from any position. The camera visualises the heat emission of an object, thus allowing its temperature to be measured. Since the object to be measured does not have to be touched in this process, the device can be used in sensitive areas such as locating overheated electrical and mechanical components or detecting water damage. Sketches and text annotations can be entered via the 3.5” touch screen and stylus.
