The µsurf explorer measures surfaces in industrial manufacturing. Sturdiness, compactness and precision are the special attributes of this optical 3D surface measurement system, which is used to measure a variety of surfaces and, for example, to analyse and ascertain their roughness. It combines the precision technology of a high-performance measurement system with the stability of a sturdy tool for everyday use in a maufacturing environment. Its compact construction integrates the entire control system in the device itself, thus doing away with the need for further external control modules when making measurements. The reduced and functional design reflects the solid construction necessary for use in a production environment.
