Hilti PRI 2
Rotating Laser

red dot
red dot award: product design 2008

The PRI 2 Hilti rotating laser displays all the features of a compact measuring device for indoor use. Its very distinctive, compact design with its four grips protects the technical components and housing, and provides a good grip to be held all around. A precise, bright laser beam allows alignment and transmission work to be carried out. The user can, with the help of a 360-degrees infrared remote control, steer the rotating laser with a high degree of precision at the press of a button. Horizontal, vertical and tilted projection of the laser, as well as the transmission of points of measurement and right angles, are possible even for users with little experience. An integrated, automatic shock warning and shut-off makes reliable measurements possible when vibration is too strong. The rotating laser beam becomes stationary when a button on the integrated beam function is pressed, and can then be remotely directed in any direction.
