With its lighting feature, the ceiling sprinkler system provides an additional function. During a fire, the power supply often fails in buildings, so light cannot be switched on. This makes it more difficult for people to escape from, and for rescue workers to enter, a building. The light beam, which also comes from the nozzles, illuminates the scene, making work easier for firemen. Water flows through the turbine, powers the blades, and generates electricity which is used to power an LED. Its light illuminates the room like an emergency lighting system and helps people find the exit. At the same time, it provides rescue workers with a better overview of the situation. The shining, smooth appearance of the nozzle conveys high functionality and reflects its surroundings. Thus the sprinklers fit discreetly into any environment. The outlet of the light beam and the water jet is indicated by ring-shaped indentations. A red ring indicates the use as an emergency device.
