On ergon and nomos. The term ergonomics is a hybrid word, derived from the Greek "ergon" (work) and "nomos" (law or rule). The word was meant to be catchy as it was postulated by the Ergonomics Research Society founded back in 1949, an interdisciplinary group interested in the study of human work. The objective of the Society was defined as the improvement of the relationship between man and his working environment. Today, ergonomics is an internationally valid maxim in design, and the T20 / T24 SP stand-on electric pallet truck is just another example of how sophisticated design can effectively improve the working environment. The design is based on an ergonomic study, the results of which are built into the so-called SP concept. The truck combines an optimised driving position, an innovative drive control called e-Driver, as well as a safe and comfortable operator's compartment. For real-world use this means that the operator can easily control his working environment from a relaxed and comfortable standing position in the cockpit. Whether driving forward or backwards, the T20 / T24 SP provides the operator with a 45-degree driving position. This removes physical constraints and widens the operator's view in every direction, giving him good overview of his working environment. The easily accessible e-Driver drive control has been adapted to the 45-degree driving position and can be controlled effortlessly with one hand. The left-hand is then left free for other tasks. The exterior design of the T20 / T24 SP lends the vehicle a dynamic appeal, suggesting agility and efficiency. In its combination of precision control, low running noise and an intelligent construction principle, all paired with an ergonomic approach, the truck also embodies a new aesthetic for the classic pallet fork-lift truck, designed for the working environment.
