A running outfit has to satisfy high requirements: it has to keep the body warm, prevent it from overheating and whisk moisture away quickly. The Fremont charcoal shirt is such an allrounder. Its basic material is a polyester fibre embedded with active carbon in the form of carbonised bamboo. The high-tech material provides good moisture absorption and reduction, thus helping to prevent unpleasant odours. This effect is further increased by the use of open-mesh structures to enhance breathability. At the same time, the very lightweight material emits subtle infrared radiation, which has a warming effect and improves blood circulation. The fibres also enrich the air with negative ions, which are intended to increase well-being. This pleasant feeling is further supported by the feel of the soft, skin-friendly material, which is available for ladies in the seasonal colours orchid and chilli, and denim and elegant graphite for men. These colours combine playfully with the natural grey colour of charcoal, the shirt a distinctive, fashionable look.
