The Scrypto 1Z stands for a return to the beginnings of the watchmaker's art. A single hand tells the time. The scale of the twelve-hour circle is divided up into 144 five-minute steps instead of 60 one-minute steps. Every line of the scale stands for five minutes. The hierarchy of the lines' thicknesses and lengths supports the faster understanding of quarter and half hours. The precision needle and the fine scale provide an astonishingly precise time. The stylistic devices used - in particular the zero placed in front of the single digit numbers - lend the Scrypto 1Z the archaic character of a measuring instrument. The highly curved glass contributes essentially to the watch's elegance. The partly satined, partly polished stainless steel body has a screwed back cover with a glass insert, which allows a glimpse at the ticking mechanical clockwork.
