Rado V10K

red dot
red dot award: product design 2003

In this watch model, the abbreviation V10K stands for the Vickers 10,000 degree of hardness, the top value in diamond technology. Due to an innovative production method, diamonds can grow on a shaped carbide component, thus resulting in a watch with a very high degree of hardness. The elegant connections between the sapphire glass and the watchstrap as well as the sides have diamond-coated components. The bottom of the watch and the strap's catch consist of a skin-friendly titanium. To achieve an overall aesthetic design, the watch does not have a crown, the time is set with the help of a magnetic pin.
