What gives the 101 model from the O series its characteristic visual appearance are the 31 round date holes and the elegantly reduced and clearly arranged design of the dial. Instead of using numbers for the customary date display, the date is shown by a rotating point below the dial. The fine arrangement of the 60 indices allows the time to be read precisely down to the second. The cylindrical housing of finely brushed stainless steel with scratch-proof sapphire glass provides a straight-lined, edged and yet discreet frame for the well-proportioned dial.
