The optimisation of the suspension systems, particularly in the rear, and the attention to detail in the innovative design are the main advancements for this model. Profiles and load-bearing junctures were extended beyond the component segments to facilitate a flow of forces and maintain a uniform design. The aluminium frame is made from two half shells guaranteeing a compatibility across all models. Attention was paid also to innovative details: disc brakes attach to the frame without the commonly used adaptors and suspension indicator dials directly mounted onto the frame.
