The THOR was designed for lightweight all mountain bikes. Low weight and high stiffness was formally achieved by the mix of organic and technical design elements. The two arches of the lower leg were designed and connected so that they meet the real stress conditions. This allows, together with thin walls, a high torsional stiffness and a unique lightweight look. This formal guide line was also paramount for the design of the dropouts and the fork-crown. The intended link to other Magura products is accentuated by the special colours of the fork.
