The design of the Diamir Eagle Alpine touring binding represents an intentional synthesis of function and emotion. In order to meet the product’s specific requirements of durability, safety and functionality, the developers came up with a design language that has proved to be an intelligent combination of nature and technology. This concept is made visible, for example, by the skeleton and sinew-like shape and contours that clearly reflect the effort involved in the binding’s construction and its advantages for the user. The Diamir Eagle is based on a newly-developed gliding technology that allows for a high degree of walking comfort and safety by optimising the binding’s pivotal point, thereby guaranteeing natural rolling motion when walking. The binding also has a wide cantilever support that ensures a high degree of torsion rigidity for both ascent and descent. The greater cushioning of the heel support additionally aids improved energy transmission during descent.
