The high-end Odin series, which consists of base layers, insulators, soft shells and an entire outerwear, was developed for alpine use under harsh weather conditions. The collection combines the company’s 130 years of experience in the workwear industry with innovative fabric technologies and a contemporary, minimalist design. The plain, reduced designs are targeted to follow function without compromise. It thus features smart textiles such as Schoeller®-PCM™ and the Fusion Modular System™ which make the collection something special. The Schoeller®-PCM™ can absorb body heat and release it again as required. The Fusion Modular System™ is a flexible zipper interface which transforms the three-layer shell jacket together with the pants into a one-piece suit, or the soft shell vest with the three-layer shell pants into a bib. A great deal of time was spent on an extensive development process in which key opinion leaders such as mountain guides, mountain rescue teams and Helly Hansen athletes contributed suggestions.
