The Wavy Tactile Path set consists of eight gently curved parts that are wider and higher in the middle and became narrower towards the ends. The carefully honed modules are not restricted to a single form and can be connected in the shape of, for example, a horseshoe, a circle, a bow or a path. The educational toy helps children develop their physical skills; it provides various tactile sensations and enhances the ability to explore and adapt to the environment while playing. Inspired by trails in a rice field, its aim is to bring the experience of being in nature into children’s lives. Its colour scheme thus features blue to resemble the ocean and green to resemble the forest, whereas the protruding lines and dots on its surface represent the most commonly found shapes in nature and stimulate the soles of the foot. The tactile path serves to improve the resilience of foot muscles and enhances children’s dexterity and reactions in a playful manner.
