The YAP Backpack is an innovative re-interpretation of the practical and ever popular rucksack. It departs quite considerably from the familiar standard bag with two shoulder straps. While retaining the conventional form, the Starck backpack amazes with futuristic details: for instance, the polyamide and glass fibre handle retracts of its own accord when no longer needed. The backpack has an all-round zip fastener which, when opened, displays the entire contents to view: nothing disappears into nooks and crannies and has to be looked for. It is accordingly equally suitable for carrying documents and utensils.
