zero.4 is a contemporary reinterpretation of the traditional studded surface. It features a deliberately irregular distribution of circles of four different diameters, resulting in a combination of geometry and organic design – an “accidental project” inspired by nature. Mould technology is the focal point of the zero.4 proposal. This new moulding method permits the apparently random distribution of circles of different diameters, obtained through the calculation of geometrical progression.
